波の音を再現する日本古来の手法として，あずきをざるに入れて揺らす「波ざる」があります．しかし，波の音を聴きたい時にあずきが手元にあるとは限りません．
あずきを必要としない「波ざる」実現方法として，「バーチャルあずき」を製作しました．バーチャルあずきを傾けると，リアルな音と振動であずきの移動を感じることができます．触覚振動子としてバイブロトランスデューサVp2を2個使用し，箱の中であずきが移動していく様子を振動の強さで表現します．
"Namizaru" is a traditional Japanese method for reproducing the sound of ocean waves, in which you put "Azuki" beans into a bamboo colander and slowly shake it. However, azuki beans are not always available with you when you want to listen to the sound of the waves.
To realize "Namizaru" that does not require azuki beans, we created a "Virtual Azuki." When you tilt the Virtual Azuki, you can feel the movement of azuki beans with realistic sound and vibration. Two Vp2 vibro transducers are used as tactile transducers to present the movement of azuki beans in the box by intensities of the vibrations.
